100% of the Tezotops have been sold out. Plenty of them are on secondary as of the time of this post. And we are working to tirelessly to get the game out as soon as possible. Currently, we’re on the hunt for backend development support. Anshit, our Smart Contract and Lead Dev, needs to solely focus on Smart Contracts, while another assists with the backend. Despite this, we have come up with a timeline for target dates that we intend to hit.
A short-term roadmap, if you will…
July 30 - Launch Marketplace/swap Tezotops from kalamint + Map Explorer + dashboard
August 7 - Launch Mercenary Market
August 12 - Airdrop units to collectible holders
August 18 - Launch UNO/MIN/ENR/MCH tokens + Provide liquidity for UNO in QuipuSwap
August 25 - Airdrop UNO to early adopters
September 10 - Airdrops for backlogged resources and UNO start getting distributed.
September 30 - Tezotop Manager where players can manage their tezotops and buildings
October 10 - Tezotop Builder
December 10 - Battles enabled
Tezotopia Marketplace
Because we are launching our own marketplace, there will be a swap of Tezotops that will have to occur to make your Tezotops functional on our platform. We are not able to attach the necessary meta data to the blocks minted on Kalamint, thus we have to swap out NFTs for functional NFTs with the appropriate meta data and attributes that will allow your blocks to produce resources, keep track of buildings, and that can be resold on the Tezotopia Marketplace. Our target for this event is July 30.
Mind you, we are working on a way to keep continued integration and support between us and Kalamint; those conversations are being had and is something on the horizon. We thank Kalamint for all the support and collaboration they’ve put forth through our tenure there. And we look forward to integrating into their system in the future.
On another front, we’ve contracted out to a dedicated 3d artist for all our animations and renderings going forward for our game units. This has caused some lag time in launching Mercenary Market, and I apologize. It was a large task to undertake, and I could not have possibly done it without extra help. That is now being handled by our new 3D artist.
The final guide left in the series of game guides that explains game mechanics is the Building Guide, that will published within the next week. It will include information on building dependencies, such as which units can be produced and what functions can be performed when certain buildings are in place. I have tried to minimize the amount of buildings needed to keep gameplay simple, and avoid clutter.
Unobtanium is coming…
I am very thrilled to finally launch our game token, Unobtanium. This event will occur August 18. Mark your calendars. The initial 3,333 will be minted, distributions for liquidity and airdrop will occur. The other 330,000 will be minted through a smart contract, and only minted when players claim resources in the game. The smart contract will stop minting when 330,000 UNO has been met.
With the launching of $gif (date tbd), the DAO token for all things gif.games, DAO holders can propose votes to lower emission rates of UNO or other resources, and all else. This will given $gif holders voting rights. Right now, Tezotopia is the priority, when we finish all the necessary components of the game, we will then focus on our governance token, and creating an environment to propose and vote on different items with said tokens.
We’re very excited for the future of Tezotopia. We’re excited about our projected dates, and how we believe the game is shaping out to be. Just 56 days ago the first block went up for sale on Kalamint, solely with a vision in mind of what Tezotopia could become. It was quite a risk. Now we’re nearing our goal of delivering a platform and environment with all the tools to give our players the power to earn, play, and create in a world all their own.
