“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.”
Matthew 24:6
A lot of focus has been put on battles and not enough attention has been given to resources and landlords. Perfecting battles and ensuring they on a steady course of improvement is vital to our long-term plans and current partnership landscape.
We’re heading to a focal point that will bring both Landlords & Warlords into the foray of our development and resources will get the multiple use cases they deserve.
The Final Continent will arrive
The very last Tezotop minted on Continent 36 will be the final Tezotop to ever be minted. It’s been rumored, now it’s officially on the roadmap. This will total to 12996 Tezotops in the Tezotopia Universe and mark the end of Tickets to Mint and minting new blocks of land.
We have plans for artifacts flying through the Stargate and making their way into SignaVerse in 3D format, but that hasn’t been finalized. We’ll give more clarity on that at a future time.
Since the latest count of Ticket holders would not make up for filling up Continent 36 (we’re short ~200 tickets) we are going to reintroduce tickets into lootboxes. 3-a-day for 60 days and then reassess things from there.
These will be distributed in Mid and Heavy tiers.
Halvening Rumors
It’s true! To slow down the emission rates of resources we are considering the first halvening to happen on 31 October 2022 (Halloween Halvening). And we’d schedule the event annually to reflect the same date, unless things change and the DAO decides otherwise (We are hoping to have the DAO and governance in place the first half of 2023). We want to give players enough lead time to claim their resources, so a month of lead time before the halvening happens seems like the ideal wait time based on current claiming habits.
The problem with flipping the switch on halvening and not doing it–sayyyyy–this week is currently the smart contract is designed to mint resources as soon as you hit “claim” and if the smart contract is told to release half the original amount and you had been hoarding resources for a month before hitting claim, you’ll be robbed of the chance to claim your 100%.
Date hasn’t been finalized, but expect it to be on Halloween.
Wen Barracks?
It’s next on the pipeline. We are working out the kinks for a campaign mode that will incorporate all the resources, air & artillery units, spies, diplomats, and glyphstones, will also add a bit of lore, and give you the choice of joining opposing teams on a quest to conquer a territory map.
Barracks will be necessary for the success of campaign mode as we’re going to allow you to bring in stacks of units (i.e. 50 White Guards, 25 Mek-20s, etc.) —effectiveness of these units will be determined by your diplomat’s influence rating.
As already stated, we’re working out the kinks of Campaign Mode, once we have a more detailed and precise plan for it, we’ll unveil it.
Stay tuned and thanks for reading!
